Frequently Asked Questions
The game won't open or crashes on launch.
First, try restarting your device. If the issue continues, please ensure your device meets the minimum requirements (Android 8.0 or higher, or iOS 14 or higher) and has at least 200 MB of free storage. If the problem persists, email us with your device model and operating system version.
I lost my mission progress.
Cobalt: Iron Hero saves progress locally on your device. Progress is lost if you uninstall the game, clear the app's storage, or switch devices. The game does not currently support cloud saves.
I purchased "Remove Ads" but ads are still showing.
Force-close and reopen the game. Your purchase will be restored automatically on next launch. If ads continue to appear, email us with your purchase order ID (Google Play order ID from your Play Store purchase history, or Apple receipt number from your App Store purchase email) and we will resolve it.
How do I restore purchases on a new device?
Sign in to the same store account you used for the original purchase (Google account on Android, Apple ID on iOS), install Cobalt: Iron Hero from the Play Store or App Store, and launch the game. Open Settings → Restore Purchases in-game if needed. Your purchases will restore automatically.
How do I unlock all skins?
Default Cobalt is unlocked from the start. Additional skins (Crimson Cobalt and others) are unlocked by watching short rewarded video ads in the Skins menu, or by completing certain mission objectives.
Why does the game ask for an internet connection?
An internet connection is required to display ads and to verify in-app purchases. The core gameplay works offline once the game has loaded.
Is there a way to play without ads?
Yes. The "Remove Ads" in-app purchase ($2.99 USD or local equivalent) permanently removes all interstitial ads. Rewarded ads remain available as an opt-in way to earn skins.
How do I report a bug?
Email bdkmllc@gmail.com with:
- A description of the issue
- The mission or screen where it occurred
- Your device model and operating system version (Android or iOS)
- A screenshot or screen recording, if possible
