These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile game Cobalt: Iron Hero ("the Game"), published by BDKM LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or playing the Game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Game.
1. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Cobalt: Iron Hero for your personal, non-commercial entertainment on iOS and Android devices that you own or control. This license is conditioned on your continued compliance with these Terms.
2. Ownership
Cobalt: Iron Hero, including all artwork, code, characters, music, sound effects, designs, and other game content, is the property of BDKM LLC or its licensors. All rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms are reserved.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the Game
- Use cheats, exploits, automation tools, or third-party software to gain an unfair advantage
- Use the Game for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to circumvent in-app purchases or advertising
- Distribute, sublicense, sell, rent, or lease the Game
Violation of these terms may result in termination of your license to use the Game.
4. In-App Purchases
Cobalt: Iron Hero offers optional in-app purchases processed through Apple In-App Purchase on iOS or Google Play Billing on Android. Available purchases include:
- Beacon Crystals — consumable in-game premium currency, available in six packs ranging from $0.99 to $74.99 USD
- Armor Bundles — one-time purchases that unlock armor skins together with bonus Beacon Crystals, ranging from $4.99 to $39.99 USD
- Beacon Pass — an auto-renewing weekly subscription (see Section 4a below)
By making any purchase, you agree to the following:
- All purchases are final and processed in your local currency by the platform you purchased on (Apple or Google)
- Purchases are tied to the store account that made the purchase (your Apple ID on iOS, your Google account on Android), not to BDKM LLC directly
- Refunds are subject to the refund policy of the platform you purchased on. iOS refund requests must be made through reportaproblem.apple.com; Android refunds must be requested through the originating store
- Purchases unlock content for as long as the originating platform maintains your purchase record on your account
- Restoring purchases on a new device requires using the same store account that made the original purchase
- Consumable purchases (Beacon Crystals) are not restorable once spent or once granted to your account
We do not store your payment information. Apple and Google handle all payment processing on their respective platforms.
4a. Beacon Pass — Auto-Renewing Subscription
Beacon Pass is an optional auto-renewing weekly subscription. The following terms apply to all Beacon Pass purchases:
- Title: Beacon Pass — Weekly
- Length of subscription: One (1) week, renewing automatically each week unless cancelled
- Price: $4.99 USD per week (or local-currency equivalent, as displayed at the point of purchase)
- Benefits provided during each subscription period: 1,000 daily Beacon Crystals, removal of all ads, 2x crystal earn rate on missions, and the exclusive NEXUS Series VII armor
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account (or Google Play account on Android) at the confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the cost of the weekly subscription
- You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your device subscription settings after purchase
- No free trial is offered for Beacon Pass at this time. If a promotional free trial is offered in the future, any unused portion will be forfeited when the user purchases a paid subscription, where applicable
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to subscriber benefits until that period ends
5. Advertising
Cobalt: Iron Hero displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Ads include interstitial ads between missions, optional rewarded video ads that grant in-game benefits, and an optional one-per-run Wave Mode revive ad. By using the Game, you consent to seeing advertisements unless you have an active Beacon Pass subscription or have purchased an ad-removing bundle (Legendary Pack or Gold Founder Bundle).
6. Updates and Changes
We may release updates, patches, and new versions of the Game from time to time. These may be required for the Game to continue functioning. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue the Game (in whole or in part) at any time, with or without notice.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BDKM LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that defects will be corrected.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BDKM LLC AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE GAME, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Game shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid to us through in-app purchases in the past twelve months, or (b) five U.S. dollars (US$5.00).
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your license to use the Game at any time if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your use of the Game at any time by uninstalling it. Sections 2, 7, 8, 10, and 11 survive termination.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which BDKM LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Game after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
